Assessments are charged at an hourly rate and will vary in the amount of time required depending on the standardised assessment required as well as the client’s requirements. A functional capacity assessment requires a minimum of 12 hours, including face-to-face interviewing, administration time, assistive technology (AT), support services research and report writing time.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDIS funding can be used to cover the cost of occupational therapy sessions depending on your NDIS goals. ChelleCare can assist with NDIS Participants who are Plan or Self-Managed.
Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebate programs are also available to assist with funding occupational therapy sessions. Your family Doctor can support you to set up a Medicare rebate plan for occupational therapy.
Private Health Funds
Private Health Insurance may also help to cover a portion of the cost of occupational therapy. Please contact your insurance provider to see if your health insurance covers occupational therapy.
